The vaulted ceiling almost completed
Before
After
We’re almost done! I’ll do more pictures when everything is completely finished! SEE THE BEFORE PICS HERE.
Deck Addition
Ever wish you could add onto your house but didn’t want to loose the outdoor space? Add a deck!
We added a deck that was almost the size of this coastal house! Perfect for entertaining, and taking advantage of outdoor space.
James Akiyama Wellness Center
MORE windows from Japan Town in San Jose. This time, it’s the James Akiyama Wellness Center . It’s a mixed Senior Center and Boys & Girls Club! I love this idea of mixing the generations at the same location.

Bill and Jean Lane Education Center San Mateo County Park
Yes, we’ve been busy. R D Bacon, Inc did the windows and doors for the Bill and Jean Lane Education Center San Mateo County Park.
Fire House Finished!
Remember that house in San Diego that blew up? (Before pictures here)
Well, it’s done! It is so fantastic. I can’t even begin to tell you what the inside looked look when we started. There was a fire, and everything had to be removed. Now, it is just so cozy and clean! New windows, new kitchen, new new new!
See more pics below!
Japanese American Museum San Jose
The Japanese American Museum located in San Jose is just fantastic!! RDBacon, Inc has been lucky enough to be a part of the construction. We installed the doors and windows. Gorgeous wooden CIRCLE windows!
Check it all out!
Completely Modern Coastal
Sometimes I forget just how great a house is that we have built until I am able to go back and visit.
I just came back from one of the most modern yet contemporary homes we built. The owner designed it as she has her own design company.
Concrete floors, lots of glass, yet very comfortable to live in.
Vaulting an existing Ceiling
We took down this entire PLASTER ceiling. Ok, the term “plaster” is kind of misleading. The “plaster” that was used in houses is very similar to concrete. Concrete ceilings.
We then took down EVERYTHING and now we will be putting a a new vaulted ceiling. It’s going to be gorgeous.
La Cantina Doors
San Elijo Hills.
This is one BIG door with smaller segments. You can open them all the way leaving a great walk through area, or you can open just the one door at the far right.
The protective plastic was still over the glass on these doors, but once it was off you could see for MILES!
Inside trim wood had yet to be painted/stained. You can see another La Cantina door that had been stained here
